Senior Graphic Designer

I’m Chris Frey, and proudly a Navy Veteran. Currently, I’m working as a senior graphic designer based in Maryland, USA. In 2018, I earned my associate degree in graphic design. Recently, in 2023, I expanded my knowledge by completing my bachelor’s degree in graphic communication at University of Maryland Global Campus.
 
Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy in various hobbies like immersing myself in Nintendo games, exploring the vibrant world of anime, and delving into the boundless realms of sci-fi. Staying physically active through bodybuilding is another facet of my life that keeps me balanced and energized.
 
Most importantly, I cherish my role as a father to two amazing kids. They are a constant source of inspiration, shaping both my personal and creative journeys.

Senior Graphic Designer

2023–Present | Interagency Readiness Solutions | APG, Maryland

Working under the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Army Research Laboratory at Aberdeen Proving Grounds. Complete graphic design projects included but were not limited to the following: books, posters, brochures, banner stands, online graphics, and presentations as scheduled by coordinators.

Operations Specialist

2021–2023 | NextGen Federal Systems | APG, Maryland

With daily communication, I kept an Army division running smoothly and on task. My primary tool was an Army task management system which kept my tasks organized from high priority to low. I provided important tasks and valuable information to my division. Using Microsoft PowerPoint to reformat and develop presentations was also a large part of my duties.

Visual Communication Specialist

2019–2021 | NextGen Federal Systems | APG, Maryland

Working under CECOM Software Engineering Center, I provided any visual communication support required. Most common products included nameplates, business cards, flyers, brochures, logos, seating charts, organization charts, and large-format printing. I also provided photography for events and headshot portraits. My video production services included shooting videos, training videos, editing pre-recorded footage, providing voiceovers, and much more.

Graphic Design Specialist

Working under PEO C3T, PM Tactical Network, I provided any visual communication support required. Most common products included nameplates, business cards, flyers, award framing, brochures, logos, seating charts, organization charts, and large-format printing. I also provided photography for events and headshot portraits. My video production services included shooting videos, training videos, editing pre-recorded footage, providing voiceovers, and more.
